prayers and meditations
I went to sleep last night - pulling everything apart mentally...
it is an unavoidable thing for myself at times
and I woke this morning - feeling very fragile and unstable -
but I am determined to keep on keeping on -
it's a special day for my little sister - and so I will humbly walk
along the path of today - loving others and respect the momentous
nature of things.
I want to say that this morning I have been looking for comfort - for stability
for some kind of measure to keep along with.
Either from a person I love or from a religion...but I realize I have to provide it
for myself and that is helping me keep positive...Blue is such a comfort
that he needs me to keep happy - and provided for -
I've nearly finished my morning coffee and now I will get on
with other activities -
Sending prayers and meditations out there!
I don't know if you all have seen Britany Spears in the news lately.
I feel really bad for her. I can see her fragility -

The surest route I've found to stability and comfort is through giving it to others. Simple quid pro quo. I get what I give.
I forgot all about Brittany Spears. I only know her as a pinup poster from my son's generation. I did a lightweight surf on her news and found myself assuming middle aged Barbie bid for news coverage. Just assuming. . . Not caring enough to do the research.
Isn't fragility part of a pinup girl profile? Fragile as the paper they are printed on?
I am sympathetic to her - I have had a conservatorship on myself.
At the time it may seem unfair and illogical but I know it was for the good of me.
However, Britany's Dad seems a heavy drinker and an opportunist and so
I bet it's extra maddening for Brittany to see her life's work fortune going up
in smoke for her Dad and the lawyer involved in her case.
She's got to fight it - but I fear the fighting it will exacerbate her mental health challenge.
I feel like she needs a lot of stability and a rock to lean on right now. It's just sad and tragic.
I'm tempted to ask if you still have the poster from your teenage walls. . .
Just tempted. Insert Hank Williams here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSeuDDzjIB8
I never was an idol worshipper :)
that's a funny song!
