prayer request for today, Tuesday Nov 6th

got a call a short while ago, the new rheumy had a cancellation today at 3 pm.  can i come?  i said yes.......thinking how will i get there?

taking it on faith, i called sam.......he is working on working it out.

thank goodness, thank God, thank Sam.......

my first infusion was yesterday, it was a strange, but good day, two nurses came, one training, one the nurse i'll have going foward.  i had some reactions as the hours went by, nothing terrible.......it's strong medicine and you have to take your time, rest as you receive it and try to just really relax. 

the side effects weren't too bad.....weird, but manageable.  right now i have to get my self together, shower, gather up my meds......paperwork -- be dressed and ready by whenever sam says to be ready.  guessing he'll come around 1:30.

the nurse said my levels were extremely low, that i really needed this help, but i would need to be patient, i wouldn't see any improvements for a while....a while can mean anywhere from 2 - 6 infusions depending on the patient.  they arrived at 12: 15 and left at 5:45, so it's a long day.

sam also came to winterize my home yesterday........he's amazing.  feeling blessed, time to take that shower........please know i am so appreciative of your prayers..........i really need them.  i feel yucky and need to be clear enough to do this appt today.
