Positive self talk
I just watched a video by Louise Hay and I'm going to be trying positive self talk for a while. Me and myself get along okay, but I certainly think that there is some room for improvement. My wife was the one given the video by her doctor. She kept making comments like, "I can't do this! I hate myself!" I can't help but think that she was kinda missing the point the video was trying to make. I'm pretty sure I don't buy the vibrating molecule bullshit, but I honestly don't think that belief there is necessary for positive results. My wife and daughter have made a pact. They have each had the same tattoos put on their wrists. The tattoos act as a connection, and a reminder, between them. Now, to cut would be a violation of their pact, and would also desecrate the tattoos. The tattoos are also right along the wrist vane, ruling out suicide as well. I think it is a very creative and wonderful step, and whole heartedly endorse it. I'm thinking of getting a Yoda tattoo, myself, in a less obvious spot. This day started off with a phone call reminding me that I've already messed up and missed a dentest appointment this morning. Oh well. My teeth will be cleaned later, and I have a free morning. Worse things, there have been. Hogs and peaches, everyone.Steve
