Pondering
before we lost Ken we bought a Motor Home. It was a God send as were able to go from our home in Indiana to Alabama to help out and the last 3 months we lived there so we could be there and do what we could to help. After we lost Ken we used the Motor Home a few times but the memories were too much...it had become a part of losing Ken. But oh how grateful I am for having the Motor Home to be with Ken...we ended up trading it in for a car. That left us with two cars and a truck, so before we left the dealer I asked if he would be interested in my car so we left with our new sports car and money in our hands. as time passed the sports car just did not work out so we bought a new Cadilac. Very comfortable for riding with all my pain but now we are at a crossroads again. our home has outgrown us(is that backwards) but we started last summer to prepare the house to sell and buy a larger Motor Home to live and travel in..see the US. We started in Aug. wow then we became overwhelmed and stopped. I was never so glad to have people stop coming in...now the house is basically ready a few more storage to do and we can list. But we have hit a hard spot.. Do we sell the house and live in a MHOME and travel with our puppy,..a big part of us wants to but then we back out and try to figure out what we should do. We met a lot of Full-timers traveling in our first Motor Home but we still had our home to come back too now we are wondering if we did it sell the house, And travel how would we feel with no home to come home to. In ways that would seem like a loss to me yet it would be an adventure. We have not listed the house yet but have it up for sale...when I was younger it never bothered me to pick up and move is this what age does makes you so u decisive on making decision. I know one issue is if we decided to sell the MH it is not easy Our dream when we retired was to travel see the US yet things changed ..so much of us wants to yet so much of us are afraid should we or shouldn't we Like everything it is only us that can make the decision....that is what we ponder should we take the chance see a lot of things, be where it is warm in winter and meet new people or stay in our home that has outgrown us, sit in the cold and wait for warm weather
Wish by some magic way the answers could be answered for us.

Well Sandi. I think you know what I would do - travel! But I am a nomad. I thrive on being \'anywhere but home\', Having said that, I do like the idea of a place to come home to. That is why we bought a condo. We can come and go with little worry about lawn mowing etc. Our neighbours get the mail and pop in to make sure nothing is leaking.
You are so right. You are the only ones who can make the decision. I am sure you will find the plan that is best for you.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Love and hugs,
Marlene
Wow... Me, I\'d pack up and go! I\'d love to see our beautiful country and just take it all in. You may even love one particular place and end up settling there when your travels are complete. It\'s a personal decision but a hard one at that. Although it didn\'t take me long since I love to travel! Good luck with your decision! It will all work out. Ken will help guide you. xoxo Sharon
Happy Trails to you. Can\'t wait to see the photos. Hugs,Kathy
You will know... Whatever feels like the most \"ease\" and seems to \"flow\" are always two big barometers for me as to when a decision is for me or not.
Perhaps you are needing a little more pondering time and what fun to have a choice!
Keep us posted and we have not regretted for a moment our very big move just six months ago. Once the Universe gave us a green light everything fell into place in ways that still make our heads spin. :)
Heartfelt hugs,
XO Joanie
Why don\'t you downsize to a small condo and then travel when you feel like it? Totally hear you about going somewhere warm in winter!
My grandmother was a traveler but she also had a small place to call home, I think a condo in one of your favorite places would be good and travel around the country and enjoy. Condos are a good investment if you sell one to get another in a different place that is good for you. Keep all your options open. This is a very hard choice to make, talk about it and ask people who have done this and get their story.
I wish you the best
Hugs Penny
