poetry, followed by a little rant and explanation.

He gets away with it. Gets off Scott free.
What do I get? Diagnosed with PTSD.
He keeps his reputation, his "good name".
I keep anxiety, fear depression, shame.
He gets to continue each day, life unaffected.
I struggle just to move, body disconnected.
He gets nothing... No it's my price to pay,
With hospital bills, and a fear to face the day.

I received my hospital bill today for the incident a little while back. I opened it, read it, then put it down and went to go vomit. I'm just a college student. No I don't have insurance, and no my parents can't help. After getting the bill I began thinking about how I am having to pay the price for being a victim. This was just a rant I wrote about that tonight.

Damn, I\'m so sorry. I hate any kind of injustice, and this just seems aggravated to the extreme. I hope what they say about Karma is true, and you will have your chance to see justice. Hugs, Lisa
