Poem Titled: Colors

I see red, the color of my tears that I shed that turns into tiger stripes that don't seem to go away for they have become a piece of art on my body and i became the canvas of my own imagination. I see blue, water, where i start to drown, suffocating by my own thoughts that wont let me breathe while everyone else seems to be floating. Im yelling words that are silent to those who are blind and cant seem to find anything wrong with this picture. I see purple, as i look in the mirror from my rope of insecurities, thats telling me, im not good enough, but its ok i got you just let go and i will hold you up, from the ceiling where your heart hangs, i gave up on myself, gave in to the pain, seems like thats all that i crave..... I see black, blacked out from forcing myself to go to sleep from the medication hoping that I just dont wake up, thats when im at peace and one with myself. Help seems like a far cry, for i choke on my own words of detrimental thoughts, cant get any words but "im fine".. I dream of yellow; I long for the beauty that everyone else sees in me that i dont believe, but sometimes i do. I want white, to be healed from this sickness that i didnt ask for, for it has taken over me, controlling me, using me, doing things i never seen. Please, i pray for the day that I can have the energy from red and the sunshine of yellow, so equally it can become orange and form the Happiness in my life. These are my colors, what are yours?
