I was sitting in my home, after the last day of the working week for me.
I was not finding much to watch on the tely.
I had some veggies for lunch in a mustard, balsamic and olive oil dressing.
Then I was sitting there... realizing for some reason finally... that there's a whole
world out there....I decided to go for a walk to the the bakery and have a piece
of cake and a coffee. It was a nice little jaunt. So I am home now, feeling a little piggish
but I definitely want to start going 'out there' more often. It's just a moment...
and I will think on it.

There is a salad dressing by Newman's Own called something like balsamic something. It's a creamy, balsamic vinegar dressing..it's good on tomato's, mozzarella, onions and basil.

You live near a bakery? ? ? Color me envious! ! ! Somewhere over the course of my adulthood, bakeries have all but disappeared in the U.S. and I miss them enough to cry sometimes. I passed 4 bakeries on my way to school in Ecuador and? ? ? Nostalgic sigh. . . I miss bakeries more than I can say. How did such a precious piece of culture slip away from us?
I like the smell of baking bread. In Chicago there is a chocolate factory. That aroma smells good.
It’s a nice place. They provide a lot of the local restaurants and hotels with their daily bread.. I am lucky. I can walk to their cafe in less than 5 minutes. Good coffee, good eats. :)
it would be nice to eat alfresco in the California sunshine, enjoy.
