Pleasant memories and strange feeling

Today started off  rough, however  the more the day went on I felt strangely peaceful.I have been looking at Marissa's videos, pictures and her room most of the day. It almost feels like she is just visiting a friend. I miss her beyond words.
I do have something to ask other moms here their advise on? Marissa was killed in a car accident. She was with 3 other friends, one of which died also and the boy that was driving(18 also) is in the hospital still, to my understanding still in a Coma, however with his eyes. The boys were both newer friends that she kept from us for the most part. Well they were all drinking alcohol at the time of the accident. Found out later that these boys were not who I wanted my daughter hanging around with. Well this past week I am getting this very strong pull to go to the hospital and see the boys mother. I cannot stop thinking about it. My husband thinks I should not however why would I feel like this? Maybe Marissa is telling me something?

oh my goodness, this is heart-wrenching. I believe in strong pulls - perhaps Marissa is asking you not to harbor anger or blame, and trying to help you to reach out to another Mom in great pain. Do only what you can, given your understandably fragile state. However, I believe this is incredibly deep - the pull to connect in a way that only Moms can in a situation like this, regardless of the circumstances. Marissa is an amazing child, and she\'s showing you the way - the path to forgiveness. Hugs, Patti

I have a sense that this pull is for a reason... Just as Patti said the power and path to forgiveness is before you. Allow your heart to be your guide.

Be still, listen, and you will know...

I am so terribly sorry for this outcome and for all the lives that have been deeply affected by this tragic accident.

Heartfelt hugs of care,

I have not had this situation, but agree with the other moms.

Pleasant & strange all at the same time.....that\'s how it can be for us. Any moments of peace are like tiny cherished gifts. I wish you many more of these precious times.

As you reflect on this feeling of pulling that you are experiencing, you have the right to take all the time you need to make a decision. Perhaps you may come to the conclusion that your attention is drawn to that mother by your heartstrings. On the other hand, you may feel perhaps that you want to reach out to her personally. Whatever you decide is ok & the time you take in deciding is ok too.

You are in my heart & prayers dear friend.
Hugs.....Vicki

I agree with the other moms above also. I think you should follow your heart. It may be that the boy\'s mother is thinking about you and would like to speak with you too, but is afraid to reach out. She may need you more than you know. And it may bring you some comfort and healing.

You are the best judge of what you should do. Just feel it in your being.

Sending you love, peace and tight hugs,
Diane

I think it would help you to go see this boy and his mother. Maybe you can bring some confort to each other. It was horrible what happened all these young lives. they say \"when you forgive it sets you free\' i believe that but sometimes it is hard for me to forgive certain people.. I look at the videos of my daughter also and pictures. and I cry and cry. So sad. my daughter died of Lupus. Bles your special angel big hugs mary ann
