Planning for health

Working on resetting my headspace.  Crashes do make us more negative, stress doesn't help.  I need to stay positive and focus on licking CFS and getting on with my life.
The new doc identified a number of things wrong with me including :
---------

Moderate Atherosclerosis (generalized)
Elevated Blood Pressure
Excess lipids in blood ( lipidemia)
Insulin Resistance with Metabolic Syndrome-  Pre Diabetes
Tissue Inflammation  ( ? decreased liver response)
Excess Adrenal sympathetic response (cortisol, adrenaline)
Leptin Resistance
Poor Mineralization
Tissue Acidity

- oxidative stress
- chemical toxicity
- heavy metal excess
- bowel inflammation

---

The good news is she thinks these things are fixable and I can possibly be restored to health in 6mths to 1 yr.

I have had so many bad experiences with docs and their misdiagnoses, that  I struggle to take her seriously or hold on to the hope that this could be the end of my CFS journey.
But I also know that if I am not positive I will stand in the way of my own recovery.  Whatever the Lord has in store for me on this journey he needs my cooperation to work things out.  Whether this be full recovery or simply improvement in function .. whether it be permanent or only for a time ...

So I am working on my own head .. making a commitment to my own health.  Determining to do what I need to do and to push my negative expectations aside and give this a fair shot.

Not easy but here's a start.   When I am well I am going to...

- buy 6 pairs of 6" stilletos and rock them every day
- lose 40lbs so I can fit into my 'hot girl' wardrobe again.  I never was a girly girl but I felt attractive. It will be fun to look and  feel like myself again.
- finish my kitchen ..including laying the floor and completing the cabinets with my own two hands
- hike with my son to Blue Mountain Peak (21 miles each way)
- take my son scub diving

That's a start, will add more as I go along.
TODAY I COMMIT TO MY HEALTH, To doing the things I need to do, resting when I need to, feeding and supporting my body in healthy ways, managing my thoughts ..bringing forth hope, peace, joy and serenity and casting away fear, resentment, despair and negative expectations.

I AM HEALTHY; I AM WEALTHY; I AM LOVED and above all I AM GRATEFUL.
