PISSED
So I work my ass off 60 hours a week for the last 5 years and don't win shit at the awards ceremony. I got nominated for most improved manager of the year a few years back but didn't win. This year the restaurant wins store of the year. Are you kidding me? What a slap in the face to me and my good friend Rob who quit in December. Rob is so much happier working less hours at Bravo.
We were nominated for store of the year the last 2 years and didn't win but they win this year without us?? I was there half the year and Rob was there until December but we get no credit. why does this even bother me???? I had to quit because of my health but still!!! My friend told me the reason they beat out the other stores is only because sales went up in January more there then anywhere else because the economy in this area turned around. I'm still so pissed!! PISSED!!!
And of course Jeremey didn't win GM of the year because they know he's lazy and he sucks. I should be happy I don't work there anymore like John says. He really believes working there had a negative effect on my health. SCREW that place. Working 10am to 10 pm on my feet with no break and no time to eat. I had to shove a salad down or eat a granola bar most days. I never got off on time. Always stressed out about running unrealistically labor. Hell I threw my back out lifting highchairs because I had no hostess because we had to save money and there was nobody to help me.
Screw that place!! Thankfully I see Stephanie in a few days. I really need to let that job go. I shoulda quit years ago on my own terms. I shoukd consider it an award not working 60 hours a week anymore.
