Pictures
I've finally done it. Well, sort of. A few months back I posted about my fear of hanging anything on the wall. I've never done it. So my walls were blank. I'd purchased all new furniture, decorated the apartment beautifully, but nothing on the walls. It looked strange. Incomplete. I'd been searching for something to hang, but just could never make the commitment. Until yesterday.
I purchsed three pictures yesterday and hung them on the wall. As for my fear of nailing something into the walls, well, I bought those sticky tape things for hanging pictures. So far they're still on the wall. I used the same thing to hang the smoke detectors too.
The place looks great, if I can say so myself.

Congratulations! You hung things on the wall with the sticky tape. No nail holes. All the best. For the longest time I never changed the pictures on my walls either. I finally got pictures that I actually like and are on the walls now. I gave away the pictures that I didn\'t like. The place is mine now that God wants me to have for now. What kind of pictures did you hang on your wall(s)? I got black and white pictures of trees, one picture of wolves and one picture of wild cats in my living room/dining room/den. In the bedroom, I have 3 pictures of Steveston fishing docks and one of a lighthouse. Hats off to you that is for sure. You have come a long way. From Diane B.
Great job! I\'m always afraid of messing up the drywall too with nails. Can the \"sticky things\" handle much wt.?
the sticky tabs work, you can buy them according to the weight you will hang on them....make sure you clean the area with alcohol, not sure about painted areas, but on my front door I cleaned it with alcohol like the instructions said
