PICKLING TIME
THIS WILL BE A SHORT ENTRY AS I AM POOPED!!! I STARTED AT 9:00 THIS MORNING MAKING BEETS AND FINISHED AT 3:00. I HAVE NOT MADE BEETS FOR A FEW YEARS AS THE COST OF THE BEETS WAS HIGH. I USUALLY BUY MINE FROM THE FARMERS MARKET. I NOW AM REMINDED OF HOW MUCH WORK THEY ARE AND OH, SO.....MESSY!! HOWEVER, I GOT A 10 POUND BAG FOR $3.98 AND THAT IS A GREAT DEAL. HUBBY WAS THRILLED AS HE LOVES MY BEETS. IT WAS TOO FUNNY BECAUSE MY THIZ SHU WAS SNEEZING LIKE CRAZY BECAUSE HE DID NOT LIKE THE SMELL OF THE VINEGAR AND PICKLING SPICE. I JUST LOVE THE SMELL, VERY FALL LIKE AND FOND MEMORIES OF PICKLING WITH MY GRANDMOTHER.
AFTER THAT I DYED MY HAIR WHICH WAS WAY OVERDUE AND TOOK A MUCH NEEDED SHOWER.
TOMORROW IS APPOINTMENT DAY. IN THE MORNING I HAVE AN EYE APPOINTMENT WHICH I REALLY NEED SINCE IT HAS BEEN ABOUT 10 YEARS SINCE MY LAST ONE. IN THE AFTERNOON I AM AT THE HOSPITAL FOR AN EKG AND A CHEST XRAY. THEN OFF TO MY MUM'S TO HELP HER WITH A COMPUTER PROBLEM. I WILL BE ON THE GO ALL DAY.
ANYWAY, THAT'S ALL FOR NOW FOLKS. HAVE A GREAT NIGHT.

We canned beets to but I don\'t pickle them so I can use them for other recipes too. Then if I want them picked I do it when I open them. My Grandma taught me how too. We planted ours this year but is almost cheaper to buy them and not be bothered with them. I am going to cut way back on gardening...to much work.
10 years...WHAT..Now you are going to be yelled at..YELL, YELL. That is way to long. Glad you are taking care of that.
Lucky Mum to have you for puter troubles. I have Kelly and her boyfriend, thank heavens. I am not really savvy.
I switched therapist AGAIN, big mistake, guy was a jerk watching his watch. One is yawning through my appointment the other is watching his watch. Not sure what I will do now because you have to be seeing a therapist to get meds. I am convinced it is a money thing. My psych wants me to start Seroquil since I am so down and can\'t sleep. After reading I could gain 40-70 lbs I think not. She will have to come up with something else. I see her again on Tuesday. She thinks I will have been on them for a week and this will be a recheck. In the mean time my insurance will not cover them anyway...so now what. I am keeping my appointment anyway to tell her about the therapist and the meds. Hey, wait a minute this is your journal and your time...Sorry.
Didn\'t get the info from this journal but I am glad you dumped a doc you have to wait for 3 weeks to see and hopefully you will feel better about the new/old one.
What color hair...hope flaming red. Love it.
