Phoenix

I see darkness all around me
The world has closed in
The touch of darkness caresses me
It sends a chill down my spine
There is an eerie quiet
Ringing in my head
Bright fire engulfs me
Dancing in a circle
The flames licking at my body
A warm feeling fills me
Driving the cold touch of the darkness from me
I hear a beat
It came as a pair
It swims in a rhythm
Pulsating through me
I open my eyes
The light shines through
I've been reborn from the ashes.
 
I wrote that in 11th grade I think. Again, I know its not that good but I like this one as well.
