May 14, 2011: Posted a couple of photos of Charlotte's visit. It was fun to be a tour guide for her. However, there just wasn't enough time to do everything.
The first day we visited Scott and Melisa's graves, traveled a bit of Route 66, and went to Branson.
Day two we met with a few DS girls at Golden Corral and visited the Granddaddy of the Bass Pro Shops.
Day three was Easter. We took a little journey through Willard but mostly just hung around the house and visited. Beer Butt Chicken for dinner!
Day four she had to leave. :( Before we went to the airport, though, we had breakfast at Waffle House. She wanted to have an American waffle so badly. :)
Except for the day we went to Branson, it was horrible rain! Lots of flooding! She was even delayed getting here due to the rain and storms....by about five hours! It was still raining when she left and she was delayed again. But, it was amazing to meet her in person. We had chatted since shortly after Frazer died and just have a lot in common. I think it is safe to say we will meet again.
Isn't is just amazing the connections all of us have made? Charlotte, for example, is literally from the other end of the world. In this manner, we are very blessed. However, I would prefer never to have known any of you. What I mean is, I would have preferred never to have known you under these circumstances. Oh, you all know what I mean. I love you all.
Peaceful wishes.
