perspective 'check in'
for some reason, some times, I take a mental 'wrong turn' and my reality plummets
into a blind vortex of asking 'why, why, why?' - In the moment I am drowning (in my body) but
I am realizing that moments like these just have me needing a 'perspective check in'
to get me back in working order. I have things I plan to do today and hopefully
I'll have some ideas about what to do next.
Keep on keeping on, you guys rock!

Why why why - those questions can tear a person apart at times. « How » can be more pragmatic and actionable I think. Helps find the common ground between problem and solution.
Go easy on yourself. Happy Saturday Markaroni!
thanks Nikkita!!
have i shared my own therapy song for the why why's? the translation is unimportant. it be the chorus which lets me get my why why's out of my system. "wayay" is an andean flavoring particle which more or less translates to "yeehaw," but the phonetics are the english, "why why" and provide an energetic, compassionate channeling for that compulsively irresistible question, "why?"

well. . . translating the first two stanzas might be pertinent.
i'm going to sing today of pain and sorrow
of the loneliness i carry in my soul
i'm going to sing today of sad deceptions
of dreams and illusions i have lived
for what it's worth
the song is a huayno about a huayno. (pronounced, "wino")
thanks arfie!
remembering the old maxim to be self responsible...
and so I am getting on with the day. Just took a shower,
and dressed - Blue is on the bed and is meowing for company.
I get my haircut later today and I have the washing of
the bedding to do. I'll pass the vacuum over the carpet in the apartment
and deal with my mail. It's an off kind of weekend from the normal
schedule. Usually I have the Treepeople to go to on Saturday mornings
and that probably has me in a 'whirl' - So now I have this time on my hands
and I am going big picture. I'll go see the carolers sing after my haircut.
Feeling splintered and bummed but I'll get on with it. :) peace!
