pernicious anxiety

almost without exception, when I lay down to sleep I have anxiety.

It comes in the form of worries about anything or everthing....and or self abusive and invasive thoughts.

the anxiety eventually turns in those darker thoughts as they did tonight.

I called my therapist to leave a message about it  I just tried to be rational about it

- and as I was listening

to her voicemail message, I remembered that I have "GO TO" things

that help me fall asleep. So... I had a small snack and then came on DS

to write and reply. I feel good about that - that my consciousness got

past the woefulness to a perspective of solution and action! :)

Good night and sleep well,

Mark

I'm sorry you're having those dark thoughts; they must be very scary. I hope you tell your psychiatrist about them and the intense anxiety, if you haven't already. I'm wondering if a med tweak or change/addition could help with all that. Have a wonderful Wednesday, Mark!
