pep talk
it's Sunday morning... Went to the Starbucks when it opened
and got myself my usual simple coffee. It opens at 5am - it's still dark out
but it's become the habit. I like this time of day, though it would be
pretty great if I had someone to come home to and maybe even
rearrange my schedule to a main stream type but actually I am ok
with it.
I came home and had some inner turmoil about myself...but then...
I decided to remind myself of 'who I am' and the 'responsibilities I have'...
and that shored me up with a confidence and a steadfastness to
get on with the day...
It's the day of the week when we reflect and give ourselves a pep talk
to keep on keeping on, and I am sending that out to you guys... have a super day and week ahead!!!
remind yourselves and remember who you are and all that you do
to keep it all going.. you can do it!!
peace,
Mark

Good morning and Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday Nikki!
Good pep talk Marky! We all get inner turmoil, even if at assorted levels or spectrums, but that’s why we look outward to unload that pressure we put on self. And see where we can better focus energy.
You do get up crazy early. I’ve started mentally awaking at 4am on this new med but physically still tired so laze before I reach for the coffee. In college I used to love grocery shopping at 6am opening of a grocery store. Can you cook some breakfast for all your DS peeps since you’re up that early anyway? Toaster Strudels or frozen waffles are ok if you can’t cook. Haha.
haha - that sounds like fun! I'll make a full english breakfast!
i wouldn't give up those hours surrounding dawn for all the social stardom in the world. it is such a peaceful time of day. the few people who are out and about are typically mellow and eager to avoid conflict.
personally, i believe the angels gather for a dawn concert every morning. the concert is comprised of all the waking dreams of the previous time zone. sometimes i think i can hear that dawn concert and listen carefully for it every dawn, whether i can hear it or knot. just believing. proof irrelevant.
Thanks Arfie!
