People see me

Yesterday we went to mass at 5:30 pm and after mass an ex co- worker who usually sees me during mass saw me the first time since my surgery. She was so happy for me and said she could tell just by my face that I was feeling better. I did not realize people could tell you were in pain just by looking at you from afar. She told me how she even noticed how my swollen shoulder wasn't looking bad anymore. She asked how I felt and we talked for a short while since the 7 pm mass would begin soon. I can only only imagine what others that know what this type of pain is thought of when they saw me. I know there had been others that told me to my face that they could tell I was in pain but never realized how observant some people are. I am excited that in about 2 weeks I am finally going to get rid of my neck brace. I can't wait. Yesterday I also received a packet of questions I have to answer, didn't realize they would be asking me so many questions. It's ridiculous how I'm the victim and they want to know almost everything about me. Really surprised they didn't ask what kind of toothpaste I use. Oh well I'm just going to have to dig through boxes to find everything they are asking for since I haven't been employed so long because my husband and I decided that it was cheaper for me to stay home and raise our children than have to pay daycare for all of them. I also realized how much of an overthinker I am since I have ran that accident in my head millions of times thinking if there was a way I could have avoided it without taking an alternate route but I have yet to find one, since it was not my mistake. If the person in front of me doesn't go then how do I proceed unless I go around him, I know for a fact I can't go through him. I hate the fact that this has kept me up countless nights.
