People of faith with people of no faith - what do you think

What do you think about people of faith with people of no faith?  I am a christian woman.  Dave has no faith and neither do his friends.  I know what the bible says do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.  Sometimes it freaks me out when Alla and Dave talk about religious things as they are not believers at all.  They speak of the bible being compiled by many different people.  I am a christian and take the bible as God's word no matter how many different people wrote it.  It urks me to hear their ramblings but I don't say a thing.  I don't want to turn things into an argument issue.  My faith is too important for me to argue about it.  You either accept the bible as God's word or not.  Why argue about it?  I think the bible and things are accepted by faith.  Without faith, you can poke as many holes into religious issues as you want.  I probably should feel guilty about being with another non-believer but I do not.  My first husband wasn't a christian, Smokey was not a christian and Dave is not a christian.  It is my track record that is for sure.  I have dated christian men.  They are like any normal healthy male man.  At this stage or age, I would not know how to be in a situation to meet a christan man.  I just decided to do what I enjoy and I will meet a man in the process.  There was no hurry for me.  My heart was starting to open up to the possibility of meeting a guy.  Along comes Alla, who I met thru the community dinners that Don was taking me to on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  She happened to know a single man that was looking for a woman.  Alla introduces Dave and I together and the rest is history.  Dave and I have been dating for over 2 months now.  Things are going good.  I think we make a nice couple together.  Our relationship has the possibility of going the distance.  We are taking it one day at a time.  It's all in God's hands and how He wants this thing to work out for both of us.  I figured God blessed me with all my relationships. I have learned & grown from all my relationships.  There is a reason God brought Dave and I together in the first place.   I was praying all along that God bring the right people that he wants into my life and here I am now.  I value my Daily Strength friendships.  I appreciate each and every one of you greatly.  I am just venting out things that I have been thinking about in the last little while.  I always value feedback from Diane Baillie

Do you think maybe you over think things a bit? If you are happy in this new relationship, let it be. If you are feeling guilty because of this relationship, maybe you are finding things to mess it up? Just my thoughts. Hugs, Wendy
