Pennies from Heaven???

Mon., 9-15-08: Okay...I am still am somewhat of a high from my contact, yesterday, with Scott.  I know it was real.  Today, I was taking my little walk before lunch and found 3 pennies in the parking lot.  Not together, but staggered.  I think they were from Scott, my mother-in-law-Marjorie, and Melissa.  I had been thinking about them a lot since yesterday!  In any case, it made me feel good.  Plus......I am 3 cents richer! Chris came over tonight.  It was so good to see him.  He only lives about 12 miles from here but rarely makes his way.  He decided to come here to eat supper.  Craig and I went out to eat tonight so there were no leftovers, but he fixed a sandwich and "stuff".  That was okay with him.  His kitchen is under total remodel.  He is tired of fast food and didn't want to eat alone in a restaurant again.  We had a good visit.  Tomorrow (today) he is taking me out to eat before the Compassionate Friends meeting. Adam went back to work today.  I hope he holds this job!  His job history is not the greatest. Work is still good.  I love my boys!  We are, however, going to lose one of them come the end of the month.  I am not so sorry about this.  He is a whiner.  He is so fun and cute in some ways, but the whining makes me crazy!  Of course, he has, somewhere, learned whining will get him his way.  It does not work in our class so he just whines more!  He is a smart boy and I hope he finds his way in his new school.  I really like our new teacher!  I was pretty anxious about a new teacher but all is well.  She is a straight shooter and I like that.  I have a hard time with people that manipulate, hem-haw, etc. Scotty memory:  Scott cooked supper often to help me out.  He enjoyed it.  And although it might have only been Hamburger Helper, I appreciated it.  One night I was a bit late from work and he had been holding supper.  When I got home he actually scolded me for being late.  It was too funny since he had missed supper (or curfew) so many times before.  I just apoligized and complimented on his meal.  He was just too cute with his scolding.

I believe those pennies were from Scott, I go to the cemetery every Sunday well about 5 months ago there was a penny laying on top of Josh\'s headstone and I really didn\'t think anything about it so I just left it,well the next day when I got to work I had an e-mail with a poem that said Pennies From Heaven. I was like OMG so when I left work I went and got it and have been collecting and saving them ever since. love the Scott memory Josh never help me cook he just wanted to know when dinner would be ready.LOL hugs to you, Love Tammy

So glad you wrote about this, very inspiring - God bless you honey - keep those pennies in a safe place!
I know you work hard; and I give you credit for the kind of work you do - I\'m still looking - but I\'ll wait as long as it takes - no matter what. The picture of Scott scolding you made me laugh - he must have been serious about that dinner....God bless him - holding you close in my heart.

Pennies from heaven. I believe that. Scott turned into Mom there. Isn\'t it funny how the kids eventually turn into replicas of us. Glad the new teacher is a good one. so much easier to work when everyone is on the same page. Enjoy you dinner tonight. Love and hugs cathy

Thank you so much for telling us that, Hon! The found pennies are a sure sign, so are feathers, a familiar tune on the radio, a flower somewhere unexpected, etc. You are not alone, you are being reminded all the time of your Scotty\'s love! Loved the Scotty story---keep \'em coming!!
Reminds me of Jamie one time,--we got home from someplace and forgot to take our cell phone. We had 3 messages from Jamie to call him. When I did, --he said, \"WHERE WERE YOU??\" same kind of thing--I had to laugh, because it seems at a certain age, the concerns change and our child becomes the \"worrier\"! Love, Judy

I love it when we get signs from our loved ones. Pennies are nice, maybe a slow process to the riches of life. I sure need a sign from my baby girl. Love and Hugs.
