Pennies from Heaven???

Mon., 9-15-08: Okay...I am still am somewhat of a high from my contact, yesterday, with Scott.  I know it was real.  Today, I was taking my little walk before lunch and found 3 pennies in the parking lot.  Not together, but staggered.  I think they were from Scott, my mother-in-law-Marjorie, and Melissa.  I had been thinking about them a lot since yesterday!  In any case, it made me feel good.  Plus......I am 3 cents richer! Chris came over tonight.  It was so good to see him.  He only lives about 12 miles from here but rarely makes his way.  He decided to come here to eat supper.  Craig and I went out to eat tonight so there were no leftovers, but he fixed a sandwich and "stuff".  That was okay with him.  His kitchen is under total remodel.  He is tired of fast food and didn't want to eat alone in a restaurant again.  We had a good visit.  Tomorrow (today) he is taking me out to eat before the Compassionate Friends meeting. Adam went back to work today.  I hope he holds this job!  His job history is not the greatest. Work is still good.  I love my boys!  We are, however, going to lose one of them come the end of the month.  I am not so sorry about this.  He is a whiner.  He is so fun and cute in some ways, but the whining makes me crazy!  Of course, he has, somewhere, learned whining will get him his way.  It does not work in our class so he just whines more!  He is a smart boy and I hope he finds his way in his new school.  I really like our new teacher!  I was pretty anxious about a new teacher but all is well.  She is a straight shooter and I like that.  I have a hard time with people that manipulate, hem-haw, etc. Scotty memory:  Scott cooked supper often to help me out.  He enjoyed it.  And although it might have only been Hamburger Helper, I appreciated it.  One night I was a bit late from work and he had been holding supper.  When I got home he actually scolded me for being late.  It was too funny since he had missed supper (or curfew) so many times before.  I just apoligized and complimented on his meal.  He was just too cute with his scolding.
