Pecan Pie
I have been craving pecan pie for a long time now, but it's always like $8 or more. I found one today at the store for $5.50, so I had to get it. I had a piece and now I feel like barfing. I promised Geo I wouldn't purge, but if I threw up it would be natural. I have a nausea pill I need to take.
Lisa and I have been having a rough time. She thinks she's getting in the way of Geo and I, but she's not. She's just giving me attitude and I don't know why. I don't want to lose her as a friend. She's pretty much my only friend here. But she doesn't trust me. I go with her to clean and she tells me she doesn't want me cleaning, just talk to her and keep her company. Today she was telling me that one of her friends was going to go help her, and she said he could clean. I don't know why she doesn't want me to clean... it would make time go faster. Just drama, and I don't need any drama in my life.

Pecan pie is my hubby\'s fave. Definitely a staple of the season. Hope you feel better soon. Sorry you\'re having a tough time with Lisa. I hope everything works out. Hugs!
i think its nice of you to go at all. i wouldn\'t. why not just hang out with her and invite her to zumba or to go walk around the park, or whatever you do for exercise.

I don\'t get lisa, you have been friends for awhile now and the talk about getting in the way of you and geo makes no sence. maybe try and have a friend to friend talk and ask her honestly what is wrong. I hope you can work it out, drama you don\'t need, it is just to stressful. hugss
I agree have a chat with lisa and see what\'s going on with her. Maybe, she like you for your company.. she doesn\'t want to use you to clean. But the idea that she\'s getting between you and Geo did something happen?
It is hard when there are issues with friendships. I hope things get settled soon. As for the pie...cut, wrap in single servings and freeze...bring out when you get the craving again.
YUMMMMIE pecan pie is really good! We never have it because not enough people in the family like it but i did make one years ago for Thanksgiving for my step mother. The popular pie around my house is Chocolate French Silk.
Thats just odd that Lisa thinks she is coming inbetween you and Geo ? :( I would definitely sit down and talk it all over with her and tell her its bothering you that she feels that way so you want to know her real concerns about it.
