Peace
Have you ever seen a documentary with seals or walruses in it? They rest in a colony on a beach but as each comes out of the water to find a place to rest they pass all the other snarling cantankerous snapping seals or walrus until they find their own spot. Isn’t life a little like that?
I know no one’s got the corner on being moral or just but I do feel like god is watching us. I’ve got to be strong and a dream would be to be successful enough to have a community, like a fiefdom that I could take care of. But realistically I’ll take care of the community I have.

i'm grinning, suncloud. that very song popped into my head when i read mark's question.
i watch my chicken flock establishing their pecking orders all day, every day. pecking orders are an ongoing power struggle for chickens, especially during election years. or are those religious wars they are having. for all the quibbling they do all day, every day, they roost peacefully together every night.
