Peace

God has given me a sense of peace.  There is no other explanation.  I wouldn't say that I'm happy.  I'm just at peace.  I feel calm, almost removed from the situation.  It's almost as if the grief has been compartmentalized.  I like the feeling, but it's very alien.

Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

That is an excellent bible verse. I keep thinking of the blessing:
\"Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted\" I think about that one a lot. Thank you. You are at a good place I am getting there but rather slowly. I do feel the peace of God flood my soul most days. On the bad days, I just cry my heart out to God. It is a good thing to do as well. We are on a journey and one that neither of us chose. I wander where our journeys will lead us. I keep praying for inward and outward healing.

I love your bible passage also. I am at sense of peace also, and have been for awhile. I talk to God daily, mostly when I am getting ready for work. There isn\'t a day that goes by that I do not feel my DH 24/7. It is a comfort knowing that No. 1 - God walks with us, 2 - our beloved spouses are with us, and 3 - our parents. With that package, we are set.

It\'s because of our faith that we can face tomorrow. It took awhile for me to feel at peace with myself and to know that all things work for good that love the Lord.
