passive entertainment
I go to work in the mornings and that really is a good thing. When I get back to my home
I tend to do the same things and make lunch and then sit in front of the TV. When I was a kid, I was really creative
imaginative and active when it was time to fill my time. Now it seems I don't really know why I have 'lost my mojo' for painting, drawing and doing creative things. I tend to imagine or only be able to comfortably think about doing things
with my free time that are pretty much passive. Like watching tv. Or eating.
I really should get into the habit of going to the gym, or continuing going to meditation class (which is one thing I tend to regularly do.)
Adult sensibilities seem to get in the way of me trying to fill my free time with active stuff - I think there's probably a slew of things I could get into - just need to make the effort and forget sweating the details.

I think what may be holding me back is in part a kind of sheepishness or squeamishness about doing things when I'm alone rather than supported by a friend. With age and experience, getting too self oriented is really a red flag to me since I have done some pretty destructive stuff when I went for a life that was self oriented and motivated. I know it was my illness motivating me - and causing me to react to life (coloring my mind) the way I did. But now I have perspective on life and health. I think I can make some steps to do some self motivated things and not worry if I am 'doing wrong.'
I have a problem doing certain things without a friend or family member with me. I get afraid and anxious but really can't explain it. I've overcome some things by just doing them over and over again by myself. Luckily I have family members to go with me places if I need them to. Hopefully, you will be able to motivate yourself to do some things. You've done good by going to your meditation classes alone.
Any local classes or meet ups to do? I really benefited from my art therapy group I was a part of several years ago.
Thanks guys!
