Passed Inspection!
Sorry I have been gone for so long. Last Wednesday we got a "7 day notice to cure" our apartment because it was a bit messy. So it was either clean or get out. So we cleaned and cleaned... Geo's mom is an angel.... She cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom from top to bottom and bought us new appliances. This is the second time she has come from nowhere to save us from eviction. When I was applying for disability, I had no income to pay rent. So she paid the rent and the power to keep us going. I don't know if I ever can help her like that. She is just our angel.
I've also had a ton of doctor's appointments. I have one on Friday about my migraines.. I don't know what he will find, if anything, on my MRI. I just have been getting a ton of them from stress. Now that the inspection is passed, I can start to relax again. Yesterday Geo and I went to the pool and just swam for about an hour. It was nice... we had the whole pool to ourselves.
I made meatloaf for dinner in a brownie baking dish, and that was a big mistake. I didn't coat the pan with spray and just threw the meat in there. Well, the meat stuck to the Teflon and came off in the meatloaf. I didn't even notice since I took a small piece, but when Geo got to it, it was a mess. I think I even ate some of it. Hopefully I don't get sick. But boy did I learn my lesson.
I haven't been doing much walking since I hurt my foot... I get an MRI done on that on the 31st. I don't know what's wrong with it.. it's not fractured- if I get one more foot x-ray I think my foot will start glowing lol.

You are doing great. Migraines are horrible. Only those who get them, can understand. As for Geo\'s mother, yes she is an angel. Wish there were more like her. God Bless her. I hate those Teflon pans. Give me the glass ones anytime. I usually rub olive oil on the bottom and sides. Hate those sprays, full of chemicals.
so happy for you and geo! geos mom is a godsend and thank goodness for her! don\'t forget that you also did a lot of cleaning. I have never had a migraine, know some with them and see their pain, I hope they stop and you find a way to control them. I have made that mistake about the Teflon, I like knuckles ide about glass and how she coats it. hugsss
Yeah on passing the inspection! Bless the MOM angel! Now that the apartment is clean do you have a daily cleaning plan to keep ahead of the mess? NO MESS - NO STRESS!
I\'m glad you passed the inspection. That must be a huge load off your mind. Joyce makes a good point. If you can stay on top of things you won\'t have to worry about doing such a big job again. It\'s always easier to keep something looking nice than to make it look nice.
I\'ve been trying to keep it nice. If I spill something, I wipe it up right away. If there\'s a dish in the sink, I wash it. The cleaning lady came back and vacuumed so we don\'t have to worry about that for a couple of days. But the inspectors can come in at anytime with no warning for a year.
First daughter was told to take B-2 for her migraines. not sure how many pills she took a day. but you can try 1 pill a day and see if it helps. .I know it helped her...
Your MIL is an angel. that was so nice of her to do all that for you and Geo.
Great job with the steps. Just stay with the 10,000 for now with the goal to work towards 15,000. you will be surprised that gradually you will get up there. the book i read said to increase about 500 a week .
Hope you can find out what is wrong with your ankle. great job with the walking and going to the gym.

They finally put a lock on the pool so only residents can get in. That\'s not going to stop the teenagers who jump the wall all the time, but it\'s at least something. Geo and I need to go to the pool more often... it\'s great exercise.
