Pain in Back
Woke this morning with an awful pain in back to side area on right side, have no urge to have a bowel movement, have had 20 grams of my daily fiber today and will have more later, after yesterday's bout I do not know if there is anything in my system to have a BM. I am desperately looking for answers from someone who has this disease and has lived with it daily. Please help me with what to expect, when to panic, when to know all is well, pain is normal.....

no pain is normal. but DT pain is usually in the lower left front quadrant and sometimes is in other areas - i had diverticula in my transverse colon as well as the sigmoid, so my tummy got really messed up. I could tell that I had to go to the doctor if: 1. I stopped pooing. 2. My tummy started feeling distended 3. If I had ANY sign of pain in the tummy.
