Pain and Taper

I can't wait until my doctor comes into the office on Monday so I can ask him about this pain. Today the pain wasn't so bad until I cooked dinner. Then I was crying in pain. I spent all day in bed, reading. I figured that I could distract myself from the pain if I read, and it worked. I'm trying not to take Vicdoin if I don't have to. I know this is mental pain, not physical. I thought for a bit I was going to have a mental breakdown. I was almost begging to be back on my pills. But nobody said the taper was going to be easy. I just want to know which of my meds is causing the pain so I can taper it slower.
Food today was a bit better than yesterday. I've eaten about 1,000 calories and I'm getting hungry again so I probably will make it to 1,300. Part of that is Gatorade, which I've been drinking because I've been having stomach problems and the runs. I should be drinking it more since I'm having trouble meeting my calories. I was supposed to weigh today but didn't. I probably won't for a couple days, until I get over all this. I hope I get over this soon. I don't know how much more of it I can take until I say screw it and go back on my meds.

Monday can\'t get here soon enough and you can consult with the doctor and get past this terrible pain. Hang in there!

I\'m really worried that you are getting off the meds way too fast. Glad you are seeing the doctor on monday.
