owning my choices
I've been doing better lately. I have been aware of my capacity to decide
what to do when I am faced with a 'problem' or a choice.
So how I choose to deal with the issue while alone - whether it's my feelings
or my impulses...
It's really a good thing.
I've kind of written about this evolution in recent journals.
I am not sure how to describe it - perhaps the impact of this 'realization'
is more powerful to me than it's simplicity of expression.
I am not feeling as powerless as in the past to impact my day/my direction.
So that's a good thing. I won't take it for granted...I know that any kind of
new reality will be met by old forces and new within me and outside of me.
I'll keep flexible. A feeling of 'well being' is giving me the calm head to
choose better for myself.
To actually commit to something to do with my day I am started to dig deep
and reach out to see that I want to do something that has social impact - but
a small project for myself and personal stuff would suffice :).
Either or - this circumstance requires a little imagination - and that always
mixes with turmoil - but gotta work through it.

You? ? ? Digging deeper? ? ? If you dig any deeper, you will bypass China and shoot straight out the other side of the planet. That's a common tendency among us questioning types.
One of the lighter side tools I use to manage my tendency to over-think and question every little detail is my EDM. Executive Decision Maker. My EDM is a random coin which I toss to make those hard but mostly arbitrary decisions for me. Heads is, "Yes." Tails is, "No." Reducing my over-thunkery to a Yes/No question is always the hardest part.
thanks arfie. my mind is weird. I'm trying my best and I know you are too. Thanks again and I hope you
are having a nice Labor Day. :)
