Over the hump?
This has felt like the longest Wednesday EVER. I guess I could feel proud that I have handled 101 different things today with an amazing calm and poise, but really I just feel tired.
Good news is that once I actually remember how to spell about 35 words that will likely be on the Arabic test in the morning that I just discovered studying tonight that I really do not know how to spell, I will have all of Friday to hurriedly get through sociology so that I can spend a LOT of time this weekend catching up basically ALL of my anthropology reading/notes for that test on Monday.
I actually sat in my class before it started today, listening to all the younger ones talking about how they saw the test review and got sick to their stomachs, how they just didn't get enough sleep and hadn't studied at all, and then noted in my assigned group for going over the review sheets that I was the only one in the group who had actually filled it out. Maybe it is just me and my overly crazed sense of responsibility, but I really did want to point out that at almost twice their age, with two kids, two puppies, and the big black cat, I had somehow managed to fit it in!
This reminded me of being at the pharmacy behind a lady who was telling the clerk she was picking up an antidepressant and anti-anxiety medication for her 18-year-old because college was so stressful. I had this huge urge to hit the lady over the head, take the meds and run!!!
Okay, I am over whining for the moment. Been doing a lot of it lately - must be the grand total of 2 weeks that we were all snowed in...at least I'm blaming it on that! Supposed to be almost 70 tomorrow and I can look forward to enjoying that for a moment after the big test!!!
