Out of bad good can come!

Out of bad good can come.  I got mad at Dave yesterday.  It was just the day itself.  Dave had a bit too much to drink and still picked me up at home.  He should never have done that and I should not have gotten into his truck.  We are standing in his kitchen and I complement him on his looks.  I said is there anything about me.  He couldn't think of a thing.  We have been together for 3 months and there was nothing positive about me.  This set me off.  On top of that we were sitting on his couch in the living room and talking about how little that I cook.  Dave does all the cooking.  I said I have made about 12 meals.  Dave thought I was wrong.  I list them off and Dave doesn't believe me.  After the other two things that I was mad at, this set me off.  I stormed off into his bedroom and eventually left to walk to my place.  It is about a half hour walk.  Dave called me twice and I said give me half hour to calm down.  He was going to push me so I said I am not talking to you and hung up.  I go home, have a nice bath and wash a bit of TV.  Dave calls and comes over.  This is all the bad stuff.
The good stuff is that out of all this experience, I realized Dave is in love with me and vice-veresa.  He was upset that I left without saying a word to him.  He was worried about me walking home.  He wanted me by his side and didn't like it without me, which I think is sweet.  During the course of our conversation, Dave told me for the second time that he loved me.  Dave got me to promise when I get mad at him, stay in the bedroom and don't leave.  We can talk it out.  When I left the apartment, Dave was going crazy looking for me and realized that I had gone.  Dave also said that a lot of the things that come out of his mouth is just garbage and not to take it seriously i.e. how many times I cooked.  This helps me in our relationship.  This helps me to look at things a bit differently.  This part was the positive thing about the whole entire day.  I am a happy woman.  I wanted to share my Sunday.
Dave said that I make him feel important and that I need him.  Why do I love Dave?  He makes me feel safe, needed and loved.  I haven't told him that yet but I will.
