Our Christmas gifts for the grand kids
This evening my daughter in law texted me a video of forgotten Christmas gift my wife and I gave to our grandson and granddaughter for Christmas 2010. My wife was very thoughtful, much more than I. She bought 2 books one the night before Christmas and the other Frosty the snowman which had voice recorders built in so we could narrate the story in our own voices. She thought it would be cool for the kids to have us read to them these stories even after we were gone. Little did she know 2 years later she would be gone. How wonderful it was for me to hear her voice once again. I had forgot about these books. I thank God for the opportunity to hear her reading to her grand kids one more time. I miss her so......

I cried when I heard her voice but was thankful to hear it. My wife never liked me to take pictures or videos of her so I don\'t have a lot with her voice in them. I even called her voice mail at her work and recorded her message before they deleted her account. It is comforting to her her voice once in a while.
