OUCH

I couldn't believe it but when I was washing my hair this morning I actually had a knot on my head from being slugged!  It has just been an "ouch" when I brushed my hair or touched my head.  A helmet is looking pretty good....thanks for the suggestion! lol  Seriously, that doesn't happen very often.  I am usually better at seeing it coming and stop it before it gets that far.  (And, deflecting the blows....just kidding.)  I hate it when they get like that but it is the nature of the business.  I worry about what will happen when he, and others, get bigger and stronger.  They could easily really hurt someone and wind up in an institution or even jail which they are not equipped for at all.  That makes me very sad and is just one of the many reasons I work so hard to try to teach them other ways to handle things.  Everybody at work has been "off" this week.  I think we are all tired from the time change and soooo ready for our break.  The woman from Compassionate Friends called this evening.  She left a message and I will call her this weekend.  I just won't make any plans.  But, I can't turn my back on her because that is not what CF is about in my book.  And, it was really just annoying and a pretty small thing in the scheme of my life.  Well, I have a headache and am tired.  Two more days....
