opening eyes

I had a list of things I wanted to get done today.

Happily, I got them all done and then some...

I'm sitting here in front of the laptop now with nothing

else planned to do except for a meeting online at 1pm.

I started to spin my wheels a little bit and the pressure was building

because I had nothing pressing. I remembered something very

enlightening my Doctor said to me...When you're alone you

tend to 'pathologize' what your experiencing. Indeed I see it. If

I don't have something to do in front of me then fear happens and starts engendering

that 'something is wrong with me', it's a snowball kind of effect and I think I'll stop that.

So, I'll take the vantage now that I got a lot done today - a feather in my cap -

and I'll try and plan something else - but I'll think of the remainder of today

as just a day on my own. No need to panic or go down a rabbit hole of

spinning etc...

True Mid, it definitely is a balance and the struggle is always there. No real panacea. Have to just keep taking care.

"All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone," ~Blaise Pascal

I call ^it^ over-analyzing, but? ? ? is that another word for, "Pathologize?"

By whatever name, ^it^ gets my vote as the number one problem in isolation. To think, I had made good progress on ending the phenom when the maskite invaders made isolating mandatory. Some days you get the elevator, some days you get the shaft.

Sigh. . .
