One Year 50 weeks

Closing in on two years since diagnosis.
Visit with doctor went fine. He increased my Pramapexol by a half tablet. Now taking Azilect, 1 mg once a day, Pramapexol 0.25 mg, 1.5 tablets 3 times per day and Carb/Levo 25-100mg 1 tab 3 times a day. I told about morning cramps and shakes until meds kick in in the morning. We rearranged the dose schedule. Carb/Levo and Pram on arising and before lunch. Pram and Azilect before supper and Carb/Levo at bed time. Now I don't have the cramps and the shakes are better, but I wake up about 5 am. I begin to dwell on the the day's plans and can't let go. It helps to enter notes to myself in my smart-phone. At least I can stop worrying about forgetting something I am working on. Then I get cat-naps the rest of the night.
I create work-arounds for each daily problem as it comes up. Using the computer mouse can be difficult at times. I can be searching for a file in Explorer. I start to double click a file name to open it and jiggle between first and second click. The file vanishes. I then have to search the nearby sub directories to see where I moved it to. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. The work around: move the mouse gingerly with two fingers over the file. Take hand away from mouse. Double click the left button on the laptop track pad.
I finished building, painting and re-assembling the new tandem bicycle about the same time as the Dr. Appointment. The new tandem bicycle is much easier for me to ride so it has extended my time as captain. The real reason for the new design was so Judy can be captain when my balance gets bad. We went for a ten mile ride yesterday and one of the frame joints broke at the weld. Now the paint job is splotched but the frame is brazed back together. Next step is to "lug' the joint to increase it's strength. Brazing with the shakes is wild. I have to arrange my work so I can brace my right hand.
One day at a time, but life is still fun. Currently in Arizona and headed for California.
