One Year 34 Weeks
It has been 6 weeks since my last entry. We have been volunteering here at Stub Stewart State Park in Oregon. We have had a great time here. The rain has been rather persistent and we are having problems with leaks in the motor home. It it time to head south.
Thanksgiving day was an opportunity to share with our daughter's family. It was also an opportunity to recognize what the drugs are doing for me. The meal times were quite different from my routine. Morning and lunch pills were taken on time. lunch was a snack. Dinner was just before my standard time to take the third set of pills, so I delayed them until I figured my stomach was again empty, about 6pm. We returned to the park and home in the evening and I tried to update some files on my computer. My tremors were so severe I had to resort to one finger typing with my left hand. I guess that all the turkey and dressing in my gut trumped the carbo-levo.
No changes in my medications: 1 mg Azilect once daily, 0.25 mg Pramipexole, and 25-100 mg of Carbodopa/Levodopa. The doctor didn't go into orbit when I reported the 50,000 IU vitamin "D3" once per week with 2,000 IU the other 7 days. I can't say that it has changed anything. Mu Vit D blood was comfortably up above the minimum at 48 ng/ml in this summer's test results. (Normal is 32-100 ng/ml.)
