One Year 19 Weeks
Well I missed my intended year and 16 week update. I was busy picking and grinning at the Clatskani Bluegrass Festival. Today I am again at a Bluegrass Festival in Medical Lake, Washington. At the same time I am visiting my Cousin, my Sister and my home town, Spokane, WA.
My medications have been working well, but I get sloppy with schedules for pills and meals and that seems to reduce the efficiency and I have more tremors. I am still taking Pramipexole, 0.25 mg; Carbodopa/Levodopa 25-100mg; and Azilect, 1mg.
I have good control of my guitar and can play fairly fast, but there is a limit. That creates situations where I cannot keep up with the ensemble on some songs. I adapt by skip strumming, but that is not as fulfilling. I am having no problem with memorization and I am able to learn new songs with ease.
