One of the few funny times in my life
Hi All. One of the few funny times in my life that I an recall is whenI was around 13 or 14 years ols living out in the country with my mum. One of my half sisters was living with us at the time after looseing her own rented home due to falling into rent areas. She her huby & 2 school aged sons live with us untill they got another place to live. During thier time with us one day My half sister & her 2 sons went with me down to the near by shoping area where w there was a show ground set up.Some whould call it a fair ground. Any way . My sister buaght her sons & herself some candy floss saying to me.Have you ever tasted this?. I said No. & there is no way your going to get me to eat coton wool. My sister tried to convince me it was not coton wool but I still refused to believe her & to take any. Years later My mum got some & gave me a taste telling me what it is made of ect. I loved it. I have had more ever since lol.. Looking back I felt so stupid thinking it was coton wool & wondering how I could have though it was apart from by just looking at it.. Take care all ..Graham from Scotland.

It is funny what we can think sometimes. Once when I was a child, my father offered me and eclair. It is a very good kind of pastry. Well, I thought he said, \"Do you want an egg, Clare?\" My name is Clare, so I thought he said \"...egg Clare,\" but he said, \"..eclair.\" I said no thanks, I do not like eggs. He could not explain to me.. ;o)
we see funy time when we get older and look back at them as happy memories at the time they seen different but when we get older we realize how thses time s weer the besr and wonderful to look bach on and best of all they cant be taken fron us, they will always be locked in our hearts, and best of all they can never be stolen
My older sister and I convinced my baby sister that the yellow Dial bath soap was cheese and coned her into eating some of it. Boy was my Mom angry with that one. Kids! They can be little gremlins, and then be so innocent at the same time.Love Peg
What a nice memory! I love the cotton wool thing! It all makes us stronger in the end.
Yes . My mum lobved a Roy Orbison song I have Called Some thing they cant take away. ( All too soon we were blown apon our seprate ways again & oiur warm summer dreams joined the falling leaves that tumble in the wind. With the echo of traces of voices & faces & places that I have left behinde for thoes times in the morning & thoes at the end of the day when your memory comes easier smiling then thats some thing they cant take away. I may Die with out ever knowing happiness again. Leaving nothing be hind but a line of lonly foot prints in the sand . But I know that where ever I go I will never trade any thing I will ever find for thoese times in the mornin.) It goes on.. Take care . The same to all.. Thanks .. Graham from scotland
