one hour at a time. off i go!
Good Morning!
.......going back out There.......into Garage Country.
The garage is Goliath and I am David the sparrow.
plan on trying to do a few feet more while it's 70. had meds and a morning banana.......got old clothes on. wish me luck!
plan to rest often, drink a lot of water - already pre-prayed about this! despite and because of this spinal problem and muscle injury in my tailbone........i need to move. as well as rest. it's a helluva thing getting old/dealing with illness/injury as well as Arthur Ritis, he's soooo not my boyfriend but he sure does hang around a lot!..........when the pain dials up, i'll come back in.
I (Sparrow of Georgia) promise to take regular rest breaks and not work in excess of one hour.
already have towels slung over the shower bar to greet the returning garage warrior! jammers lying on the bed waiting........can't decide if i'm stalling or a little anxious! got the extended arm dust thingy parked at the door.......it's time to go!
.......last night before bed i went out and looked at the first corner and felt happy. all tidy and neat. yay!
(week-end goal - sort, consolidate, donate my way through 4 shelves of books.)

Go Sparrow of Georgia and good lucketh!
3 things to have very nearby while cleaning garage:
1. a comfy lawn chair
2. a tall, cold glass of either sweet tea or lemonade
3. a kitchen timer ------ Work for a predetermined amount of time. When the timer goes off, sit your fanny down in the lawn chair and have a tall, cold drink.
Not only did David conquer Goliath, he also became the anointed king of Israel! And, he was a man after God\'s own heart!
You ARE DAVID and you will conquer Goliath, oh Sparrow of Georgia!! Pilot rock is making excellent sense about the timer. I use my husband as one...but any old thing will do. I get interested in doing something and lose track of time and that extra half hour or so of expended energy comes back to bite me the next day. I feel SO bad! Please...easy does it. The garage ain\'t goin nowhere. You\'ll getter done.
Weekend hugs and happies! xoxo
Hope you were able to do what you both wanted & needed to do with abundant energy left over. I was at the campground about 4 hours today. Was able to do more than I thought I would be able to do, now tomorrow will tell the story.
We all want to do but doing does not always come easy or without added pain. Best wishes for little or no added pain for you.
*smiling* You Go Girl! & greenies
Oh goodness Ruthie, what a feat even on our best days. I pray for you also because yes, you will need God for this one. : ) I would suggest you take it slow, but I know you will. Why do garages get so messy I wonder? one of the mysteries of life I think haha. But if God is in this, he will help you, right??? and, to take your own advice, dont\' forget to have some FUN! That is such help to me, so thank you!
No I\'m not calling you David, cause that\'s my brothers name and he locked me in a suitcase when I was a baby and I nearly suffocated .So for the garage marathon it will be \"Super Sparrow\" SS for short.Yay!! GO SS!! Show that garage who\'s boss.Worth the pain to see it slain.xoxo
How did it go? I hope you didn\'t overdo and you\'re feeling OK.
