Thanks guys for your support! Had my first plasmapharesis yest afternoon. Had a trainee nurse doing the procedure because my usual one was busy in another ward. It was very nerve-wracking!! First she took ages to give me the calcium then took the port cap off and attached the needle to the lines so blood was pumping onto the floor. I got very anxious!!
Feeling really weak today and on Bipap constantly. Battling to eat, can't cough at all and all the usual symptoms. Keep on trying to remind myself that this too will pass but feeling really grotty.
Neuro decided I should only have my next exchange on monday and rest over the weekend on my BIPAP. getting a damn pressure sore on my nose already! Really attractive and sore!
