On with the story

I really don't know when Khristy started useing drugs. I have tried to think back and think it might have been when she was in her 20's and getting her first divorce and child custody straighten out in court. That was a time I tell you. When she got custody the children was living with her. Well she had one child from that marriage and another one from the person she was married to at this time in her life. So really it was Amber that the custody was about.... The father of Amber took her for his usual visit and didn't bring her back home. I took off work and went down there(which at that time she lied in Western part of Kentucky, that is about 200 miles where I lived) Tried to get things taken care of so she would get her child back. The father of Amber had sated that Khristy then husband was sexually abusing Amber. Amber was three at the time...What a mess Amber had to go to the hospital and be examined which it showed she was not sexually abused. The father of Amber wife at that time is the one that made up the story , we didn;t find out about that until later, but to have to put your child through that was very upsetting to all of us. While I was there we didn;t get Amber back, but we did get a court date and then I had to go back home to work. So I don;t know what happen between the time I left , but before the court date Khristy took  off with with a friend of her husband to Indiana. My son was living with them at the time so he was watching the son while Khristy's second husband went to work. I came down at Christmas time she hadn't got back and had been gone for several weeks at that time. Needless to say she lost the custody battle of Amber because she didn't show up for court. I believe that is the first time she started doing drugs on a regular basis. My son and her then husband sometimes after Christmas went and found her(how I don't know) brought her back home. They told me she was in really bad shape at that time. She got off drugs for while and I thought begin to live a normal life. But as far as I can tell in looking back she really never got off the drugs like I thought and her life just became uncontrollable. Everyone kept it from me and I seems to not get it at all. I thought some things were strange but didn't think too much about it. You know how you do when you say in your head well that is strange but then go on doing what your doing and don;t give it a second thought...Seems like I have to go through all this in my head of what I can remember, because I have never for the life of me figure  in my head what actually went on with her drug use. I had talked to her at several times about her drug use but she made it seem like it was nothing so I believed her. I am hoping that writing this down will help me in that ole nagging question in the back of my mind. Did I miss the complete picture??? While she was alive.
