On top of the .... hill! :)
Today I turned 50 ... the big 5-0! It's all downhill from here ... as my son says "just like a snow tube going down a hill ... WEEEEE!"
I decided to write today for two reasons, first as of today I would like to start journaling more to start a record of "the next 50 years". Second, to give incouragement to any that may read this to know that you can come through the hard times and find a brighter future ahead.
A year ago I felt so sad and alone and was begininng to believe that I would never feel real happiness again. I had made alot of progress in learning to take care of myself and to be more self reliant. I had come to accept the losses in my life and put my relationship with the people in my life into perspective. and it felt so lonely.
