Okay - I just have to say it!

School has started for my kids, two days in.  My daughter's schedule was a mess and there was a problem with my daughter being absent one too many times last year. My son's new school counselor has already contacted me about his testing and staying in contact.
The result with my daughter's school.  I emailed the principal (as my daughter's advisor suggested after talking with her about her schedule mess).  He emailed within an our asking for my phone number.  Within 2 minutes of my email, he called me, explained the procedure for fixing the problem and within minutes it was fixed.
I also emailed the vice-principal about my daughter's absences last semester, which were counseling visits and gynecologist appointments related to her sexual abuse issues.  Within 30 minutes, it was fixed.
It has been so easy communicating with and taking care of these situations that I feel even more adamant about my son's old school.
Well, even if the court doesn't appreciate this, I can tell you that I sure as hell do!!!

Awesome!! I\'m so glad the educators are working with the parents! That\'s how a good school is run for sure! The parents get to have that say on how their kids are treated :) As it should be...
