oh so busy...again

working 2 jobs even tho part time is hectic. esp when the 2nd one keeps offering me more hours. but I am doing it. money will come in handy.
so last night or I should say early this morning i go to get up for bathroom break. well I didn't exactly get out of bed. I "fell" out of bed! hit my nightstand force force with whole bottom of chin. my left jaw is swollen, my ear hurts. my teeth hurt. my throat hurts when i swallow. I try not to chew on that side cause it's a little iffy. but i felt around and nothing seems out of place. some swelling. a little bruising. but i can talk. and I still went to first full day of work. plus i'm already getting extra hours. trying to be careful I don't burn myself out tho. not as young as I was when I worked all these hours before. but I will do what I can for now. If it gets to be too much I will cut back. so nice to be in the public again. even though my feet are killing me!!!

OMG.. you poor thing. That\'s awful. You must have been saying to yourself - YOU STUPID ASS... I have a visual and I\'m one of those friends that would have lauged my ass off. And then helped you up. Gotta wonder what\'s next eh? Stick a fork in me I\'m done sort of thing.

In all seriousness, I am truly sorry that you hurt yourself. I would definitely take time out and get to a doctor just to be on the safe side. It\'s funny how if it was our children we\'d have rushed them to the hospital, but for ourselves, we don\'t want to take the time out to help ourselves. Get yourself checked out my dear you may have done some real damage. At our age, our bodies react differently and you don\'t want any internal blood clots going where they shouldn\'t.

I am not a doctor, I just pretend to hate going to them.

Feel better friend...

I hate it when I do things like that. Mine are usually farm or horse related.

You\'ve checked yourself over. If that swelling doesn\'t go down get to a doctor. I would be more worried about that ear.

You do need to go to the doctor but I understand why you don\'t go. You\'re working two jobs and don\'t have the time. We\'ve all been there at one time or another. I absolutely hate going to the doctor.

Thanks friends. It\'s the expense too. My new insurance that I now have to pay myself cause stbx is an ass only allows 2 free visits per year. I have already used 1 for checkup for cat scan. 2nd one will be for checkup on thyroids. I\'m better. Just little sore on chin/jaw area.

wow, be careful, Is there any other way you can get better coverage. In Canada we have unlimited doctor visits. But we pay taxes for that privilege. Worth every penny of it too. That includes any hospital care too.

I had to raise deductible to 5000 to get ins I can afford. Ohio the spouse is supposed to b responsible for me but good luck in court for that.

When my Cobra insurance ran out I had to buy my own insurance from the same company. It was going to be much higher. I had to find my own insurance and my deductible was 10,000 but that let me into the insurance network and the negoiated prices that the drs. charge.

I wanted to keep my therapist and I could come up with the $65.00 easier than the 90.00 he charged with no insurance. Also a small deduction on the one med I could take.

I got turned down for one policy because my blood pressure was high one time and I\'ve had thyroid surgery.

Like you nohappy I couldn\'t affort to go without insurance and take a chance on not having insurance at all.

trish I had thyroids removed 29 yrs ago. but I just had that cat scan and they left me balance of 257 out of 850. and I called and set up payment plan. it sucks though that the ass can get away with so much. ok maybe karma will take care of him but it takes so long. lmao
