Oh no! Winter storm
Okay, so I fell apart when I saw the little flashing warning on my computer that a winter storm is due to hit us tomorrow morning. I am due to be in Milwaukee tomorrow morning for my IVIG. It's a 2-1/2 hour drive!!
I looked at my husband and said "we must leave today!" He LAUGHED! How can I go through living hell for weeks, to fall apart because of a snowstorm. Oh my! My control issues are rearing their ugly head! I cannot control a snowstorm.
It is only to be 6-8 inches. We will leave early. I will be fine. I will sleep. Trust God.

I get this completly. I have just had a simalar situation(not snow) threaten me getting my IVIG. I was frantic tbut it all worked out fine.

I Know you Wisconinites can get thru almost any snow storm, be careful and have a great treatment:)
Brings back memories. Snow. Nice to look at on a christmas card or movie. Have a safe trip. I\'ll call you tomorrow night. Guess that snow might come down here. Hope it ihas run out of white flakes by tht time on Thursday. Tuesday I got extra feed for the animals just in case. And it is only suppose to be flurries and in the 40s later in the day. Paranoid.That\'s me.

I hope Wisconsin is like Nebraska in the snow clearing and careful driving. We lived on a dead end street and I commuted from Bellevue to Omaha for two winters. The blizzards never kept me from getting to work on time and certainly didn\'t keep me from getting home! I sometimes had to shovel my way out of the drive and parking places--good thing my MG wasn\'t acting up and often I had help. Have a safe trip. I can imagine that the blinking computer might as well have been saying Nyah Nyah that IVIG you are counting on to get you through all this has just been buried in snow. Get better. b.

The Great Lakes and the Midwest - is like Maine and its winter weather: lousy! But we learn to live with it, don\'t we? You were just feeling an abundance of common-sense, knowing that any storm, can be bad - even if just for exactly the wrong few hours. On the other hand: we snowbelters - know how to handle winter, and drive on snowy roads. Slow - and steady as she goes! Hope everything went okay. (Good idea: going a day ahead. I have had to do that, once in a while.)
Thanks for all of the well wishes. Leo got me to Milwaukee before the snow started. They got my IVIG started early. My girlfriend picked me up and I had a lovely night at her house and Leo picked me up yesterday and roads were plowed and highways were dry already! Nothing to it.
Living in San Diego I think its best if I just keep my mouth shut. :)
Although it did get pretty cold here last week. I almost didnt wear shorts!
