Oh Joy!

Spinal tap this morning.  Wonderful way to start my day.  Can't wait.  Oh yes I can.  LOL  I finally found a new Neuro who actually knows something about MS and she is going to put me through all the tests I never had done to find out what's going on.  Stay tuned...

Gentle hugs,  Linda

Made it through the tap OK. Now have to wait a week and a half for results, she tested for up to 15 things. In the meantime, going to have about 6 or 7 more tests done. She is leaving no stone unturned.

One more goodie in the mix. While she was reading through the original diagnosis of my MS, she got a very worried expression on her face. She told me that I have a very rare form of MS called tumefactive. No one ever told me before. Learn something new every day I guess. I now have a follow up for the spinal tap tomorrow to see how I feel, a brain, cervical and thorasic MRI on Monday, upper EMG on the 25th, lower EMG on the 26th, another follow up on the 30th to get the results of the tap, a 1 hr EEG in the office on the 3rd of May then they come to my house and wire my head for a 3 day EEG! Of course that will mean another follow up with the Neuro to put it all together and see where I'm at. Talk about being thorough!

Ever since the spinal tap, my tail bone has been dealing me fits! It feels like I bent over and someone whacked me with a big paddle. It hurts to sit down. It makes no sense to me. I was supposed to go back to the Neuro yesterday for a follow up but she was sick with the flu so now I don't see her again until the 15th of May!

Everyone have a good weekend and of course, Gentle hugs, Linda

The tap was just the beginning. She hit a nerve so I had to get shots into the spine for that, then there was upper and lower emg's, 4 MRIs, a 72 hour home EEG and the list just goes on and on! I am waiting for the results from that and a funky blood test because there was something strange that came up in my spinal fluid in the tap. Will the fun just never end?

Oh I am so sorry you are dealing with all this. But on the bright side the neuro is looking into everything. I wish you the best.

I think she is just padding her pocket.
