Off day
Today I just felt off. I woke up at noon and was thinking about going into work, but I just felt crappy, so I went back to sleep. I finally got out of bed around 2:45 pm. I made my "breakfast" and was on the computer for a while. I tried to go for a walk around 5, but it was just too hot. I ended up only doing 0.8 of a mile. I came back home and cooked dinner. After dinner, I went for another walk since it was night and cooler outside, and did 2 miles. I made it to my goal of 8,000 steps. That's going to be my goal for October. I can do it if I walk in small bits and go to work. I felt better after my night walk and now I'm wishing I could go into work tomorrow. I tend to feel better on the weekends than the weekdays. Probably because I don't have the stress of going to work.
I made my appointment with my new therapist today. I don't get to see them until the 21st of October, so I have a long wait. I hope it's not that hard to get a regular appointment with them. My psychiatrist is booked until December, and so if I want to see him I have to go as a walk in. I am going to need to see him next month, so I will have to do a walk-in. It's okay... I know if I go in around noon I can catch him since he doesn't take lunch breaks. I just hope he's not hurt that I went back to my old psychiatrist for a second opinion. I just really felt the Celexa wasn't working and wanted to try something else.
Overall, today was a meh day. I did get caught up on all my readings and emails. My eating was good, I was in my calorie range. A bit on the high side, but I'm thinking about doing the calorie switching again, going low one day and higher the next. I just need something to shock my system into losing weight.

Okay, so you can shock my system too. Quitting smoking, lo carbing and finally walking. Mine is a little different than yours, but the same results. Mine are slow, and I mean real slow. I went all day without a cig and decided to do my walking at night. I don\'t know if you have noticed this or not, but most people who are depressed seem to function better at night.
My work called me wanting to see if I would work the weekend if needed, keeping in mind I am going to do 4 live in days. I said I would do one or two extra, but that type of work need time off. I am not familiar with the counting steps you do for walking or however, as I just walk and hope to gosh I can get back to the car when I am finished. It is kind of eerie walking at night sometimes, especially by bushes. I get nervous anymore and I use to not do that.
How are you doing without the Celexa? Man, off days aren\'t any fun are they? I am kind of having one of those too. Especially with quitting smoking. I just hope I can keep it up. Lately, I don\'t wish to say anything because it always come back to bite me in the tail. I do wish you well and keep up the good work. I am trying to get to know you, just always enjoyed reading what you would type to Ann. Hugs
those blah days are so long to me, im sorry you had one. look though you got your walk in and the 8000 steps! I, like lucy, am to nervous to walk in the dark around here even with nala, I get creeped out, it is good you can. that is tough on the time frame of the doctors, will you be ok waiting that long for the therapist? at least you can go as a walk in to get meds, why do they do that when they must know that you need meds every month. hope you have a good day, many hugsss
best of luck with the new doctor and new diet. wish i would lose weight too. i want to get a fitbit. it sounds so great! xxoo
