HAROLD: A teacherThus ends my humor for today. I am SOOOOOOO.... behind on my journal replies. AGAIN!! I just seem to get caught up and then life happens and I am behind again. I will try to get to most of you today. I have been up since 5:00 and it is now 6:39. I have hardly stopped and I have a "to do list" as long as my arm.Yesterday, I super cleaned the upstairs, washed rugs, changed the bedroom around and gave everything in there a good going over. I just did it before Xmas. Where in the hell do all of those dust bunnies come from anyway???!!! I am a clean freak but they still multiply faster than I can get to them....horny little things!! ( excuse the phrase). I had a broken steam mop...oh, no my world came to an end. I love my steam mop. I thought maybe the holes were clogged so I soaked it in CLR... no luck. so i put the CLR in the tank and let it steam...somewhat better but still not great.. I spilled the Clr on the floor and mopped it up with paper towel. I then cleaned the steamer by running some water through it. i assumed it was clean and so I tried it out on my kitchen floor. Well, did I ever have a mess. there must have been some CLR left in the system and it put it all over the floor. The floor was, hazy, streaky and your feet stuck to it. So I got out the old stand by bucket and mop and cleaned it twice!!! Damn floor was still streaky and sticky. hubby went to Canadian Tire and bought me a new steam cleaner. Did the floor with this. Not real impressed with the machine, not enough steam. Floor statis...still streaky and a little sticky. rinced the steam pad out and did it again, kept rinsing out the pad and do a little. End result, almost perfect. I will do it one more time today. I think i am going to take the steamer back and order one from on line that I think I will like better. In the meantime, it will be a bucket and mop...yuck!!!!Yesterday, I also added some touches to the bedroom to give it a face lift. I got a new, pure white, eyelet duvet cover and pillow shams last week, bedskirt as well. looks lovely and crisp in the room. so I decided to change my white runners to give the room more punch. So I bought 3 burgandy base colored runners. Looks nice. then I eyed my plain light green light shades. I put four stripes of burgandy ribbon down them and added some cloth butterflies. boom... new look!!Today I will be busy doing the downstairs, banking, paying bills ( YUCK!!!) and of course, letting the dogs in and out a million times.Later in the week I have a pdoc appointment and a hair appointment plus I told my gal pal that I would help her decofiber her spare room. Not sure if I will get to have anytime for my decofiber. We will see!Anyway, thi is concludes my life story. LOL. Everyone be well.
