On the positive side, I am noticing that I have more mornings where I do wake up feeling refreshed. Been noticing that for a few months now which is great..I am inferring that this means something we did last year worked and my body has somewhat recovered the ability to heal during sleep. Yeah!
My nails are also growing fast and quite hard. Historically I have had thin, brittle nails so I guess something is working better than it used to.
On the other side...
The pain in my stomach has been pretty consistent and nagging over the past few weeks. The last week in particular. My stomach is bigger now than it was when I was 8 months pregnant. The lower left side is consistently sore and is also hot to touch at least a few days per week.
I've taken depo for a few years to stop TOM because its hard to observe symptoms when nature is constantly throwing you off kilter. I wondered though if the depo may be causing some issues, so I've been off it for 3-4 months. Body seems to be doing what it needs to on that front although I am noticing a higher than normal level of clots.
So maybe that accounts for increased pain levels this week as well as the soreness in my breasts. I cannot figure out why this would trigger increased pain in my leg. My left leg hurts more than my stomach. The pain radiates from my groin all the way down to my ankle. I really feel like its connected to the stomach issue. That pain has particularly insistent this week and I am limping more than usual. Both ankles are also noticeably swollen Hmmm...
I also note the consistency of stool has changed. For some weeks now we've moved from solid and lumpy to grainy baby poo... related? who knows...
On another topic, my sensitivity to light has been particularly bad this week. I sleep with the TV on which means most days I wake with tired eyes even though I sleep with a thick eye covering, sometimes supplemented by blankets. (yes I sometimes try to sleep without the TV but then I stay awake all night anxiously going over every single thing I need to be doing but can't...)
My vision is also shot right now , reading print is particularly difficult. Stopped for food yesterday and the place was brightly lit and some customers were particularly loud. It was horrible, my noise and light sensitivities activated simultaneously. The cashier actually apologized because my distress was so obvious. I was barely able to make my order, and got home to find they had packed the wrong thing. Sigh...
I hope that if I record things consistently eventually the pieces will fall into place and the picture will start to make sense.

Jeepers, Max. I\'m concerned about the swelling in your belly, and the pain in your leg! Are you going to see your doc. about any of this stuff. Whoever put you on the Depo would know if these things should be happening in spite of the fact that you are off the stuff right now. If you were still taking it, I would understand the sore breasts and such. I would definitely talk to my doctor about the pain in the leg/calf region. You don\'t want to worry about clots, and intestinal obstruction kinds of things with that tummy swelling!
I\'m not at all trying to upset you!! Please understand, I\'m one of those people in the medical field, and I believe SO much in preventive medicine. If I have a new/weird symptom, I tell my doctor about it. I don\'t blame much of anything on CFS and just not talk about it. I hope I didn\'t overstep any boundaries of friendship here. I\'m just giving advice.......I would see my doctor. Let me know how you are doing!! ox
Hey girlfriend, go get that belly checked out, you\'re freaking me out . Shouldn\'t be swollen like that and either should your ankles be.Also being so sore on one side of your stomach is not good.If you don\'t keep an eye on things, you could end up in strife and not be able to work, and you don\'t need that.Naughty bad girl !! Make a doctors appointment soon, or I\'ll tell easter bunny not to visit you.
