NSV's so far....

I never want to lose sight of the successes that have NOTHING to do with the numbers reflected back to me on the chunk of metal, plastic and readouts we call a scale... so, I am going to come here and post my NSV's (Non-scale victories) often!
Today is day 19 post op and so far I have experienced the following:
> Black jeans I could not breath in a few months ago are now loose on me. I can pull them up and down without using the zipper!
> My denim capris are loose all over!
> The blouse I was wearing yesterday now looks like a maternity shirt and trys to fall off my shoulders.
> The hand me down mens t-shirts I have that I wear around the house... I use to have to stretch them out when I put them on so they were not tight over my middle.... today, I put one on and it just fell loosely around my middle and hips!
> My hubby said my boobs now stick out further than my belly! (And I am only a C cup!) LOL!
> My daughter-in-law said on Friday that she could tell I'd lost already... (I'd not seen here since a couple days after surgery)
>My thighs are smaller (I won't explain how I know that! LOL!)
> The pants I have on today are bagging in the crotch! :)
> I can get up and down from the floor easier!
> I am not using my cane when I go for most walks now...
> My 5 min walks (right after surgery) are now 15-20 min walks and I am walking faster!!
> I went up our stairs today with my hands full of stuff, not needing a death grip on the railing nor being out of breath when I hit the top!
>At my 2 week check up I was taken off my metformin and BP meds :)
I imagine there are more... but these are the ones I can think of right now... Not to shabby for just under 3 weeks postop!! :)
